Iniala was born out of founder Mark Weingard’s passion for exquisite art, innovative design and outstanding food, as well as his relentless pursuit for extraordinary service, collectively bound by a desire to give back to society.

I first joined Iniala as a Restaurant Reservations Manager at ION and was very quickly entrusted with more responsibilities relating to the Events and Logistics side of the restaurant. This company welcomed me with open arms and, for the first time in my career, I worked within a team that provided the space to express my ideas and embrace them which makes me feel valued as an employee. Recently, I got promoted to Assistant to the F&B Director which is another great step in my professional development. Iniala is a very dynamic environment, which teaches me something new every day. I joined ION Harbour in October 2021 and I feel that in this short period of time I have already grown a lot and gained plenty of experience. The team is very diverse so being able to work alongside colleagues from different backgrounds and experiences opened my mind and enriched me as a chef and as an individual. Working with a 2 Michelin Star chef really set the bar high for me with regards to service and constantly pushes me to strive for perfection and excellence!
