Iniala was born out of founder Mark Weingard’s passion for exquisite art, innovative design and outstanding food, as well as his relentless pursuit for extraordinary service, collectively bound by a desire to give back to society.

Our Employee Experience

I first joined Iniala as a Restaurant Reservations Manager at ION and was very quickly entrusted with more responsibilities relating to the Events and Logistics side of the restaurant. This company welcomed me with open arms and, for the first time in my career, I worked within a team that provided the space to express my ideas and embrace them which makes me feel valued as an employee. Recently, I got promoted to Assistant to the F&B Director which is another great step in my professional development. Iniala is a very dynamic environment, which teaches me something new every day. Cannot wait to see what the future holds!

I joined ION Harbour in October 2021 and I feel that in this short period of time I have already grown a lot and gained plenty of experience. Iniala Harbour House is a unique place to work and that is an experience in itself. Apart from working in a beautiful setting, we also receive some amazing benefits. During their birthday month, employees are given the opportunity to experience Iniala’s luxury through a complimentary one-night stay at the hotel as well as dinner for two at ION Harbour. Employees are also provided complimentary meals at our staff canteen, laundry service for uniforms as well as free, after-hours transportation back home.
