We are seeking to recruit a Chauffeur to join our growing team at Iniala Valletta on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting the hotel’s guests and assisting with other in-house transportation requirements, in line with the hotel’s standard service procedures. You will also be expected to undertake tasks relating to the upkeep of the hotel’s vehicles.

This position calls for a discreet and responsible individual, with excellent guest relations skills and a willingness to work atypical hours.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Transfer guests between the airport and the hotel, assisting them with their luggage as required.
• Transport guests to local attractions and provide them with knowledgeable information on the local area.
• Carry out other trips for the hotel as instructed.
• Undertake vehicle maintenance checks on a regular basis, immediately reporting any damage or issues to management.
• Ensure the hotel vehicle is well maintained and kept in immaculate condition, including the regular cleaning of its exterior and interior.
• Interact with guests professionally and ensure they are transported in the safest manner possible.
• Ensure vehicles have sufficient fuel and are always ready for use.
• Maintain impeccable grooming and hygiene standards at all times.
• Carry out other job-related duties as assigned in support of hotel operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience working as a driver, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent driving skills, with a commitment to safety.
• In possession of a valid Driver’s Tag from Transport Malta.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English. Knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.
• Outgoing, approachable, and well mannered with guests.
