Job Summary
As a Delivery Driver & Store Assistant, you play an important role in keeping our properties
operating smoothly behind the scenes. You will ensure goods are delivered safely, accurately
and on time across our hotels, while also supporting the efficient running of the central
warehouse.
This is a hands-on role that combines driving, organisation and teamwork. You will be
responsible for completing daily delivery schedules, assisting with stock handling and
supporting the Storekeeper when needed. Attention to detail, reliability and a proactive
attitude are key to success in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
Deliveries & Property Support
- Drive the company vehicle to complete daily delivery schedules across our five hotel properties and any other required locations.
- Load and unload goods safely and carefully.
- Deliver items to the correct receiving point at each property and obtain the necessary signatures.
- Collect empty cages, crates and any agreed returnable items from properties.
- Assist with supplier pick-ups, urgent deliveries and ad-hoc errands when needed.
Store & Warehouse Support
- Step in to support the Central Storekeeper when required, including receiving inbound deliveries and picking goods during periods of leave.
- Pick property orders accurately based on warehouse pick lists.
- Help pack and prepare orders for the following day’s deliveries, including properly storing newly received goods.
- Support general warehouse duties such as organising stock, maintaining cleanliness, and cycle counting as required.
Picking, Packing & Dispatch
- Prepare daily requisitions carefully and accurately for each property.
- Double-check that all orders are complete, correctly labelled and ready for dispatch.
- Complete the necessary dispatch paperwork to support each transfer.
- Assist with loading deliveries safely and securely onto vehicles.
Warehouse Standards & Team Support
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised working environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including food safety standards where applicable.
- Provide support to the wider team when needed, including covering delivery responsibilities during periods of leave.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Maltese driving license
- Job involves may involve some heavy lifting and use of palletiser
- Experience in warehouses, stores, or distribution environments. Hotel experience is an advantage.
- Good level of English and Maltese
- Knows how to use outlook and Microsoft excel.
