Overview

Job Summary  

We are seeking a professional and service-driven Breakfast Waiter to join the team at Iniala.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a warm, efficient, and high-quality breakfast service that sets the tone for our guests’ day. Working closely with both the front-of-house and kitchen teams, you will ensure that each guest receives attentive, friendly, and seamless service in line with our standards.

This position is specifically for morning shifts on a part-time basis and is ideal for individuals who enjoy early hours and thrive in a guest-focused environment.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Prepare the breakfast area prior to service, ensuring tables are correctly set with linen, tableware, and condiments in line with company standards.
  • Welcome and attend to guests in a professional, friendly, and attentive manner.
  • Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the breakfast menu, ingredients, and preparation methods, confidently assisting guests with dietary requirements and special requests.
  • Monitor tables throughout service, ensuring prompt clearing of used crockery and replenishment of beverages where required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area at all times.
  • Reset tables efficiently to maintain smooth service flow.
  • Ensure service stations are fully stocked and prepared throughout the shift.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
  • Support senior team members and management to ensure a seamless and high-quality breakfast service.
  • Carry out any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience 

  • A minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel or quality restaurant environment.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
  • Friendly, professional, and well-presented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to support colleagues and continuously learn.
  • Reliable and punctual, particularly for early morning shifts.  

Working Conditions 

  • Available to work part-time morning shifts.
  • Weekend and public holiday availability may be required in line with operational needs.
  • Physically able to stand and move for extended periods during service.
