Overview

Job Summary 

 As a Breakfast Waiter, you will be responsible for delivering a warm, efficient, and high-quality breakfast service that sets the tone for our guests’ day. Working closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams, you will ensure that all guests receive attentive, friendly, and professional service in line with our standards.

Duties & Responsibilities  

  • Prepares the breakfast area prior to service, ensuring tables are correctly set with linen, tableware, and condiments in line with restaurant standards. 
  • Monitors and maintains the cleanliness and appearance of tables throughout service, promptly clearing used dishes and utensils. 
  • Keeps a keen eye on tables and alert servers if drinks require refilling. 
  • Prepares and serves bread baskets and other condiments to guests. 
  • Collaborates with other team members to take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. 
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the breakfast menu, ingredients, and provenance, confidently addressing guest preferences, dietary requirements, and bespoke requests.
  • Assists in the clearing and resetting tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and orderly dining area.  
  • Adheres strictly to all health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures, maintaining an immaculate and well-organised service environment
  • Maintains an adequate supply of clean linen by retrieving clean linen and delivering dirty linen to the Hotel’s Linen Department. 
  • Ensures that all stations are stocked with the necessary items.  
  • Offers assistance to the senior service team and management as needed to maintain a seamless and efficient breakfast service.
  • Carries out other job-related duties as required.   

Qualifications & Experience 

  • A minimum of 1 year of previous experience working in a similar position. 
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Friendly, professional, and approachable manner with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to support team members and learn new skills.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to upholding high service standards. 

Working Conditions 

  • Required to work weekends and public holidays.
