Overview

The Group Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that enhances the brand's online presence across multiple platforms. 

This role requires a visionary content creator and storyteller who can bring the luxury brand’s values to life through compelling, visually stunning content. You will oversee all social media channels across 3 hotels and 4 restaurants, engage with our global community, and collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure brand consistency.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for multiple 5-star luxury properties, ensuring alignment with the overall brand positioning and business objectives.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to enhance the brand’s presence on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, while also exploring emerging platforms relevant to the luxury sector.
  • Grow the brand's social media audience, focusing on high-value, engaged followers and creating strong relationships with influencers and brand advocates.

2. Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Conceptualize, create, and curate high-quality visual and written content that reflects the luxury brand’s identity, including photos, videos, graphics, and captions.
  • Lead in the creation of unique, on-brand storytelling that showcases the guest experience, hotel features, exclusive events, and luxury lifestyle associated with the brand.
  • Collaborate with professional photographers, videographers, and influencers to create content that drives engagement and strengthens the brand narrative.

3. Creative Campaigns

  • Develop and manage creative social media campaigns to highlight hotel promotions, events, and partnerships, ensuring they resonate with the luxury audience.
  • Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, influencer collaborations, and user-generated content initiatives to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (PR, marketing, events) to align social media campaigns with broader brand initiatives.

4. Community Engagement

  • Foster an authentic connection with the brand’s audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
  • Monitor and engage with conversations around the brand, ensuring an active presence on all social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the guest relations and customer service teams to manage any guest feedback, inquiries, or potential issues raised on social media channels.

5. Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Track and analyze social media performance, using data to optimize content and campaigns for better engagement, reach, and conversion.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on social media metrics, campaign performance, and growth strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to continually improve the brand’s presence.

6. Influencer & Partnership Management

  • Identify and manage relationships with influencers, luxury travel bloggers, and content creators who align with the brand’s values and aesthetic.
  • Coordinate influencer visits, content partnerships, and brand collaborations that amplify brand visibility and drive engagement.

7. Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with the marketing, PR, and digital teams to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated campaigns across all channels.
  • Collaborate with the in-house creative team to develop and produce visually stunning content that aligns with the brand’s luxury identity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, with a focus on luxury brands, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven experience in content creation, including photography, video production, and editing, with a strong portfolio of luxury or travel-related content.
  • Strong knowledge of all major social media platforms, including best practices, tools, and analytics.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling captions, posts, and content that resonate with a luxury audience.
  • Ability to work with creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other content editing software.
  • Strong eye for design, photography, and visual aesthetics, with a deep understanding of luxury branding.
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing and experience managing influencer partnerships and campaigns.
  • Ability to travel frequently to different hotel properties for content shoots and on-site social media management.
