Iniala is a luxury hospitality brand renowned for its commitment to culinary excellence, innovation, and unparalleled guest experiences. With properties spanning multiple locations, we are dedicated to delivering world-class dining experiences that reflect our passion for quality and creativity.

We are seeking a highly talented Executive Head Chef to lead our culinary operations. The successful candidate will initially be required to relocate to Thailand for six months to immerse themselves in our culinary philosophy and operational standards before assuming leadership over our new restaurant operations in Malta. 

This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate and rising culinary star to play a key role in shaping Iniala’s culinary direction.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all culinary operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Develop innovative menus that align with Iniala’s luxury brand and appeal to an international clientele.
  • Lead, mentor, and train kitchen teams to enhance skills and maintain a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in all kitchen operations.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, control costs, and oversee procurement of high-quality ingredients.
  • Work closely with restaurant managers, specialty chefs, and other departments to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Foster strong relationships with local and international suppliers to source the best ingredients.
  • Adapt and refine recipes based on seasonal availability and guest feedback.
  • Stays abreast of industry trends and continuously integrates new techniques and ingredients to keep our culinary offerings fresh and exciting. 
  • Carries out other job-related duties as required. 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef, ideally in a fine dining restaurant or luxury establishment. Experience in a luxury hotel is a strong advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, food costs, and kitchen operations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams.
  • Good communicator with fluency in the English language.

Requirements
  • Available to relocate to Thailand for six months before taking over the Malta-based operations.
