As a Front Office Executive at Iniala, you will be the first point of contract for our esteemed guests. Your warm, courteous, and professional demeanour will set the tone for their exceptional stay with us. You will be responsible for providing outstanding guest service, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling inquiries and ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcomes guests with a warm and friendly demeanour, exuding the essence of luxury hospitality.
- Provides personalised and attentive service, catering to individual needs and preferences.
- Addresses guest inquiries, concerns and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Efficiently managers guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth and swift process as per established standard operating procedures.
- Conducts guest registration procedures, verifying reservation details and personal information accurately.
- Handles payment processing and issue invoices, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Offers knowledgeable recommendations on hotel amenities, services and local attractions.
- Assists guests with travel arrangements, restaurant reservations and other personalised requests.
- Takes on duties within the Guest Experience department when required.
- Coordinates with relevant departments to fulfil guest needs, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Serves as the central communication hub for guests, internal staff and external partners.
- Relays important information to relevant hotel departments promptly.
- Handles telephone calls, emails and messages efficiently and in a professional manner.
- Ensures a presentable and welcoming lobby area, including attending to the lobby bar.
- Assists with administrative duties, such as preparing reports, updating guest databases and managing reservations for the hotel and restaurant as required.
- Promotes hotel amenities, services and special offers to guests to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for upselling room upgrades and other exclusive services.
- Maintain organised records and files of important documents.
- Undertakes Night Auditor duties when working night shifts.
- Carries out other job-related duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in spoken and written English. Proficiency in other languages will be considered an advantage.
- Proficient in using computer systems and Microsoft Office suite. A working knowledge of Opera (PMS) is considered an asset.
- Impeccable grooming and presentation with a strong focus on attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues alike.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations with composure.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to multitask effectively.
- A commitment to delivering a high level of guest service.
