Job Description


We are seeking to recruit an experienced marketing professional to join our team as Communications Manager. In this role, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic communication initiatives to promote our brand, enhance guest experiences, and maintain a stellar reputation. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of internal and external communications, managing media relations, and ensuring effective messaging across various channels.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with our luxury brand positioning and enhance the hotel's reputation.
  • Oversee all internal communication channels, ensuring timely and effective information dissemination among hotel departments, including newsletters, intranet platforms, and team meetings.
  • Coordinate and manage external communication efforts, including media relations, press releases, media interviews, and media events, to promote the hotel's image and secure positive media coverage.
  • Serve as the hotel's primary spokesperson, cultivating and maintaining relationships with media representatives and influencers.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create and execute integrated promotional campaigns, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.
  • Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and guest sentiment, providing insights and recommendations for proactive communication initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including high-profile guests, local community organizations, luxury travel agencies, and industry influencers.
  • Plan and execute exclusive events and experiences, such as press conferences, hotel tours, and VIP receptions, to engage and impress key stakeholders.
  • Oversee crisis communication strategies and act as the main point of contact during emergencies or critical incidents, ensuring the hotel's reputation is protected.
  • Manage the hotel's social media presence and online reputation, crafting compelling content, engaging with guests, and monitoring and responding to feedback and reviews.
  • Prepare and distribute high-quality internal and external communication materials, including newsletters, press releases, brochures, blogs and presentations.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff members to ensure consistent communication standards, service excellence, and adherence to luxury brand guidelines.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Communication Manager or similar role within the luxury hospitality industry, preferably in a 5-star hotel or resort.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a sophisticated tone.
  • Extensive knowledge of media relations, crisis communication, and social media management in the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Proficiency in using communication tools, software, and platforms, including social media management tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a strong ability to think strategically and propose innovative ideas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile guests, media contacts, and other stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel occasionally, as needed, to attend events and engage with stakeholders.
