We are seeking to recruit Butlers to join our team on a full-time basis.   Reporting to the Operations Manager,  the person selected will seek to enhance our guests’ experience and provide them with a personalised service throughout their stay with us.  

This position calls for a discrete and diplomatic individual with excellent communication and time management skills. 

General Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Attends team briefings to go over the hotel’s operation of the day, including new requests of in-house guests, as well as for arriving guests. 
  • Meets and greet guests on arrival. 
  • Welcomes guests in a gracious and polite manner and maintains conversations with guests in a natural manner. 
  • On request, meets and greets guests at the airport, and assists with the departure of VIP’s. 
  • Ensures a fast and speedy response to all guests demands and enquires.   
  • Carries out the food and beverage delivery and service in guests’ suites.  This includes setting up for private events such as lunches, dinners, and canapes parties. 
  • Prepares all equipment necessary for guests’ excursions.   
  • Carries out room inspections prior to guests’ arrival, and where required to carry out light duty cleaning tasks. 
  • Be aware of the hotel’s dining options and menu selections and communicate efficiently with the Head Butler and the Food and Beverage department regarding product availability. 
  • Be up to date with guest’s food preferences and any allergies they may have. 
  • Be aware of all SOP’s for the in-room check-in process, and where required have guests’ luggage delivered to the room. 
  • Carries out guests’ room orientation and the unpacking of their luggage.  This includes pressing items and having any dirty laundry delivered to be serviced. 
  • Communicates with guests efficiently regarding their schedule of the day, and timings they wish to have their room serviced. 
  • Be up to date with guests’ preferences and requests, and liaise with other departments for laundry services, wake-up calls, spa bookings and any other special requests, supporting other departments for smooth day to day operation of the hotel. 
  • Carries out any other related duties and responsibilities as requested. 


  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position. 
  • Ability to communicate fluently in the English language. Other languages will be considered an asset.                        
  • Maintains a positive attitude and the ability to remain composed in demanding situations. 
  • Well-presented, with excellent grooming standards. 
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service. 
  • Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
